Why are our sofas so well made, so comfy, and yet such incredible value?
Our secret is extremely simple: we don’t make extra profit on the extras. And then we don’t blow your hard-earned moolah on marble-floored showrooms, glossy ad campaigns, or pointy-shoed salesmen.
Instead, we put every penny where it matters which is into your sofa, to make it as comfy as cashmere pyjamas on a freezing Sunday, curled up with your loyal old Labrador, a roaring fire, and a book you’ll never finish because you’ve nodded off.
Belief in better
We work with (not against) Mother Nature, favouring both recycled and natural materials like responsibly-sourced wool, coconut fibre, castor & soybean foam and 100% natural covering fabrics.

Our journey
2014
Rohan sets up Pooky Lighting with the same philosophy - design and create beautiful, fabulously made lights, and sell them very very reasonably.
2023
Rohan contracts the sofa bug again. This time pretty badly. Determined to make the most comfortable, well made sofas, for the best possible price.
2025
Schplendid is born. Either nobody cares or some pay attention. One thing is for sure, a lucky few are about to buy ridiculously nice sofas, at absurdly good prices.
